	How can I donate towards the work of the FoTB?
	There are a number of ways in which you can donate financially towards the work of the FoTB, these range from..... Cash collections at events. You'll often see us with collection buckets at events in the Town Park or on the Bandstand itself. We may also be present collecting for the FoTB at other civic and community events across the town. We don't bite and we welcome any donation you feel you'd like to give. None of the volunteers collecting money in this way are ever paid, they're all freely giving up their time in order to both collect funds for the Bandstand and raise awareness of the FoTB's existence and aims. Join us! Associate Membership of the FoTB is open to all on payment of a small annual subscription which goes towards achieving our aims and objectives. Like the volunteers collecting donations at events, none of the FoTB's "administrators" are paid for their time or effort. Give a "one off donation". If you are considering making a single sum donation to the FoTB, you can do this by direct bank transfer to: The Friends of Trowbridge Bandstand Lloyds Bank PLC Sort Code: 30-54-66 Acc No: 22859262 The Charity Commission rules on accepting anonymous donations are strict and make it harder for us to accept larger donations from an unknown source. Whilst anonymous giving is not totally banned, the FoTB's trustees have a legal duty to take reasonable and appropriate steps to understand who their donors are. This means trustees must balance the benefit of the funds against any potential risks and must act in the FoTB's best financial and reputational interests when deciding whether or not to accept an anonymous donation. If in doubt, and you still wish to make an anonymous donation of any significance, we would advise that you obtain legal advice and seek to make the donation via a legal professional. Any anonymous donation of £25,000 or more is recommended to be treated with heightened scrutiny. Crowdfunding.
